A Note From Katy...

I want you to experience the same peace food that I have found myself.

 

After struggling with body image for years (and trying to fix my body through healthy eating and weight loss) I realized that I was miserable. I was obsessed with food and my weight, and I wasn't able to fully participate in life.

After becoming a dietitian I stumbled into the world of intuitive eating, and I realized that diets don't work long-term for most people, and that being stressed and obsessed about food is no way to live. I also realized that I didn't have to make the "healthy" version of cookies, or swap out my pasta noodles for spaghetti squash anymore. I could eat normal foods, while still honoring my health. 

I've since helped hundreds of my clients and students learn to trust themselves with food and to treat their bodies with kindness too. 

I've also seen the mistakes, missteps and pitfalls that people often get caught up in along the way.
